Black Country based Industrial Hardware Distributor implements eXant eXPorter for reporting

Founded in 1887 Albert Jagger is a family-owned business located in Walsall. With a product range of over 10,000 and with over 5000 customers the company has become one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers to the commercial vehicle bodybuilder, boat builder, agricultural and engineering industries in the U.K. and a major supplier to many countries World-wide.

Albert Jagger’s software supplier and eXant business partner, Iris – Business Solutions Division , installed the exporter tool and ran a one-day education workshop. In a single day they were up and running.

The principal users of eXPorter in the company are the Board Directors. Managing Director Garth Cooper is already a big fan of eXant eXPorter. It is already allowing his management team to get access to valuable data themselves - producing proactive rather than reactive business decisions.

The product is targeted at the end users in the business and this has certainly been the case at Albert Jagger, when asked who is using the product Garth replied, "We all do!"

Garth says, "The thing that we love about exporter is that we get to design exactly what we need in our reports". The previous reporting was to have special reports written, which proved to be costly and introduced a time delay between the need for the report and the solution. Now that Albert Jagger’s senior management can do it for themselves the results are available instantly.

The enhanced and focussed reporting that eXPorter has given them has repaid their investment in just a couple of weeks. The detailed information they now get on their performance allows them to get to the heart of any issue very quickly.
